South Korean actor Song Jae Rim died on Tuesday, November 12. He was 39 years old.
The K-drama actor was seen in a few shows, including 2012 drama “The Moon Embracing the Sun."
He shared the screen with Kim Soo-hyun in the K-drama. As per reports, he was found dead in Seoul. The cause of death is still unknown.
According to Soompi, Song Jae Rim was found dead in an apartment in Seoul’s Seongdong District. The police investigation is under way and a ‘two-page letter’ was allegedly found at the scene.
Meanwhile, it is reported that the actor’s funeral will take place on November 14.
As per Xportsnews, a memorial space has been put together under Song Jae Rim by his family at the Yeouido St.
Mary’s Hospital Funeral Hall. It is reported that his younger sister has been named as the chief mourner.
Song Jae Rim made his debut in the 2009 film, Actresses. However, he shot to fame after starring in The Moon Embracing the Sun.
He was seen playing the role of the loyal bodyguard, Lord Kim Jae-woon, one of the supporting characters of the show.
